Local Boroondara Mum
Dr Tash Thomson is a specialist paediatrician with more than 15 years' experience across paediatric emergency medicine, hospital care and general paediatrics in Melbourne's largest children's hospitals. Before studying medicine, she was a health teacher—and education remains central to the way she practises.
Dr Tash believes families deserve time to tell their child's story, understand the assessment and leave with a clear plan. As a local Boroondara mum, she also understands how difficult it can be to know where to turn when your child needs help but does not necessarily need an emergency department.

Our Services
QuickStix fills the gap between your GP and the emergency department — specialist paediatric care for mild acute illness and injury, rapid-access specialist appointments, and post-discharge review. Every consultation is delivered by a paediatric specialist.
Rapid Access General Paediatrics
Rapid Access Paediatrics (RAP)
We see well kids for newborn checks, well child reviews and general medical concerns. We aim to offer appointments within two weeks for suitable referrals, where capacity allows. We can do this because we limit our scope. This means that we do not currently accept referrals for developmental or behavioural assessment, or complex ongoing care.​​​​​​
