QuickStix Paediatrics is a business name and trading name of Thomson Health Group Pty Ltd ACN 697 558 517 ABN 92 697 558 517 ("we", "our", "us"). As a private health service provider, we are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) regardless of our business size or turnover.

2. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to the information currently collected through our pre-launch website interest registration form on https://www.quickstixpaediatrics.com.au, through which visitors may submit their name and email address to receive updates about our clinic opening.

This policy will be updated prior to clinical operations commencing to reflect the collection and handling of patient health information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on our website and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly.

3. What Personal Information we Collect

At this time, we collect only:

  • First name and last name

  • Email address

This information is provided voluntarily when you complete our launch interest registration form. We do not currently collect health information, Medicare numbers, date of birth, or any sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our website registration form. Parents or guardians should complete the form on behalf of children.

We ask that you do not submit health information, medical information, Medicare numbers or other sensitive information through our website interest registration form.

 

4. Why we collect this Information

We collect your name and email address for the sole purpose of sending you updates about the QuickStix Paediatrics clinic launch, including our opening date and services. We will not use this information for any other purpose without your consent.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your information is submitted via our website, hosted on the Wix platform (Wix.com Ltd), and is delivered to us via email to our Microsoft 365 business email account. We do not use a third-party email marketing platform at this time.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Our email environment is secured through Microsoft 365 with standard enterprise-level access controls.

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose personal information to trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website, communications systems and business operations, including website hosting and email service providers.

 

Some of our service providers, including Wix.com Ltd and Microsoft Corporation, may store or process personal information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle personal information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy law.
