QuickStix was born from a simple frustration: a local mum and Emergency Paediatrician who saw the gaps in our system and decided to do something about it. We're here for urgent care and rapid access paediatrics right now — but we're quietly building something that will change how paediatric care works in Australia. Stay tuned.

Fever, sore throat, cough, mild/moderate croup, wheeze, infections, minor head injuries, minor lacerations, foreign body removal, sprains, strains, non-deformed injured limbs, rashes, acute eczema, MCHCN referrals for jaundice and growth concerns
Rapid Access Paediatrics

Specialist paediatric opinion within days to weeks, not months.
- 6 week Baby checks
- Prenatal consults
- Medical issues: constipation, eczema, cough, wheeze, picky eating, nutritional deficiencies, menstrual health, growth concerns, fussy babies, feeding issues, sleep issues.
Rapid follow up after discharge
Post Discharge
Timely follow-up after ED, hospital admission, or VVED assessment.
QuickStix specialises in acute and general medical paediatrics. For developmental, behavioural, neurodevelopmental or complex ongoing concerns, we'd recommend a paediatrician with dedicated expertise in that area — and we can help connect you with one.

The space between a GP appointment and an emergency department is real. So is the wait for an outpatient paediatric referral. QuickStix exists to fill it: specialist paediatric expertise that's accessible, fast, and without the barriers that have kept it out of reach for most families.
So, after decades at the front line of paediatrics and emergency medicine, Dr Tash decided to do something about it.
